The station
Crimson Station is a free radio station of original songs. By using it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the station.
Listening and sharing
Listen as much as you like, for your own enjoyment. Share links to songs, artists and playlists anywhere, and share our YouTube videos with YouTube's own share and embed tools.
Our music
The songs, recordings, lyrics, artwork, videos, artist names and the station's design belong to Crimson Station. Unless we agree in writing, don't download, copy, re-upload or sell them, or use them in your own videos or releases.
Your account
An account is for one person. Keep access to your email safe: you are responsible for what is posted from your account. You can close it at any time by writing to hello@crimsonstation.com.
The iPhone app
The app is free to listen with, no account needed. These terms apply to it together with Apple's standard licence for apps from the App Store. Buying a plan makes an account for your phone without a sign-up; signing in with Apple is optional and lets you reach it from another iPhone. The account can be deleted from the app's Settings at any time.
Subscriptions
The studio needs a subscription, bought through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID. Each plan includes a number of songs a month, shown before you buy; they reset on your renewal date and unused songs don't carry over. A failed song does not count.
Plans renew automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID's Subscriptions settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
What you make in the studio
The studio makes songs with AI from what you give it. You are responsible for your requests: use only words you wrote or have the right to use. Don't name real people, and don't ask for another artist's voice, style or song.
We have zero tolerance for hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or illegal content, and for anything involving minors in a sexual way. Requests like that are refused; songs like that are taken down, and the accounts behind them lose publishing or are closed.
You may keep, play and share the songs you make for your own, non-commercial enjoyment. Songs made with AI can sound like others; we don't promise any song is unique. By publishing a song, you let us show it on its public page for as long as it is published. We will ask you first before we ever play your song on the station.
Reporting a song
Every published song has a Report link. Reports reach us right away and we review them within a day; a song reported by several people comes down while we look. You can also write to hello@crimsonstation.com.
What you post
Your notes stay yours. By posting one, you let us show it on the station, next to its song, for as long as it is up.
Keep notes kind and about the music: no harassment, hate, threats, spam or advertising, no one else's personal information, and nothing illegal. We may hide notes and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Fair use
Don't try to break into, overload or disrupt the station, get around its security, or probe it for weaknesses; traffic that does is blocked. Search engines and crawlers that follow our robots.txt are welcome.
No guarantees
The station is provided as it is, free of charge. Songs can come and go, and the station can pause, change or stop at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, Crimson Station is not liable for indirect or incidental losses from using it.
YouTube
Our videos on YouTube are also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Using the station after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions go to hello@crimsonstation.com.
